Luminary Surprise Procession

Luminary Procession schedule (times are approximate):

  • 9 p.m. Meet at the Luminary Art Studio to gather luminaries and lights then walk up to the Capitol Theater.
  • 9:30 p.m. Gather at Capitol Theater.
  • 10 p.m. (time approximate) Luminary Procession begins after the close of Arts Walk. We will begin at the Capitol Theater and process through downtown to the primal pounding of the Crow Drummers’ West African drums. The public is invited to process behind or alongside with us to Capitol Lake where we will close with a well wishes burning ceremony. In the past, only passerby’s at the right place and time were able to catch the Luminary Procession because until now it has been somewhat of a secret. Don’t miss this truly fantastic event!
