~ Good Day Everyone ~

We're under way with the initial rounds of organizing the 2024 Procession of the Species Celebration AND you are welcome to join-in at any time!

We are also letting everyone know, that while the Procession is a big project, it is also a lot of fun, filled with a spirit of good camaraderie. One of the things that keeps it so, is that there is no pressure for how much you would like to be involved. You can be involved a little or a lot; you can be involved from the beginning or involved at the end; you can design your own project or just simply watch.

From music, to dance, to thematic environmental art, it is all open to you, with the entrance of an open heart.

So yes! Welcome! You are officially invited!

Great News! The City of Olympia, in partnership with Earthbound Productions, is granting access to a portion of the Armory for 12 weeks from mid-February to mid-May in 2024. It's not all that we need, but it is more than we have. In the lower garage level, two large (25x20ish) connecting rooms with access to an adjacent narrow 6'x25' room for supply storage and batik drying lines. And full access to one third of the outside garage annex, which will be excellent for giant puppets with huge roll-up doors. We also have access to expand out into the lower garage space, but everything needs to be on rollers or broken down daily. (More details at the meeting on September 30th!)

Dream BIG for Earth Day!

Thu, Apr 22, 2021, 10:00 AM PDT

Interactive workshop to dream up a WORLD CHANGING CLIMATE ART IN ACTION COLLABORATION

How do we make real change for the climate and our future? It all starts with an idea.

In this interactive Earth Day workshop, Carrie Ziegler, of Earth Art will facilitate participants through a process of imagination and conceptualization. Together, we will let the ideas blow through us, setting some aside and building upon others, until we have at our fingertips, a truly innovative, world changing idea, complete with prospective partners and funders.

From there? Who knows. Our ideas will be in the ether, ready for us to pick up and implement when the universe aligns.

Let's imagine for Earth Day!
