Open the Studio

1. Check Volunteer Staff Log for any updates or important information.
2. Put today’s date on the sign-in log.
3. Walk around and do a general check of each room for anything amiss. Anything unusual should be reported to the Earthbound office and make a note in the Staff Log.

4. Be aware of any workshops that are going on during your shift and set aside a place designated for them. Make sure you check for the number of registered participants (if any) and what type of workshop(s) there will be, that will help you determine how much space they’ll need. If there are no workshops during your shift it is really nice to set up anyway as a courtesy to staff persons that volunteer after you. Opening hours are usually pretty quiet.
