The time has come, the Walrus said, to speak of many things—of glue sticks, paint, and glitter trays, and tools for batik wings...
The Community Art Studio relies on donations of usable items and supplies that can be magically transformed into art for the Procession.
You can contribute your own surplus supplies, or buy supplies and donate those.
Here are some of the supplies and materials we use:
Things that stick stuff together
- hot glue guns (the better ones last longer)
- glue sticks (lots)
- masking tape
- duct tape (the Processioneer’s secret weapon)
- staples and staplers
- white glue
Things that cut stuff apart
- scissors (safety scissors for small hands, large scissors for grownups)
- scissors sharpeners
- Xacto knives (and replacement blades)
- paper punches
Shiny things and fabric
- beads

- glitter (by the metric ton)
- trays for catching extra glitter
- scrap fabric, in solid bright colors
